The K-905-D1 catalyst is designed for oxidative, steam, and steam-carbon dioxide conversion of hydrocarbon feedstocks. It is specifically developed for reforming with a low steam-to-carbon ratio and for operation on "heavy" gas containing a high concentration of methane homologs. The catalyst contains a special promotant additive to suppress soot formation.
Produced on a ceramic carrier with a complex shape, the catalyst's unique granular form helps reduce pressure drop across the tubular furnace, lowers tube temperatures, and increases natural gas load capacity.
The catalyst offers exceptional stability during operation, including under non-standard conditions, thanks to the carrier composition, which is free from calcium and magnesium.
