A zinc-medal catalyst (absorber) is designed to fine gases from sulfur compounds by binding sulfur zinc oxide. It is used in the production of chemical products from natural gas and other hydrocarbon raw materials, as well as in other processes of purification of flows from sulfur compounds at a temperature of 150 ÷ 350 ° C.
