A zinc catalyst (absorber) is designed to finely clean gases from sulfur compounds by binding sulfur zinc oxide. It is used in the production of chemical products from natural gas and other hydrocarbon raw materials, including in the processes of cleaning gas flows from sulfuric compounds in units for the production of ammonia, methanol and technical hydrogen, in the second stage of the two -stage system of cleaning of natural gas, to absorb the graft at a temperature of 300 ÷ 390 ° C.
