The NIAP-03-01 catalyst offers high strength due to its unique granular shape, which reduces hydraulic resistance and improves porosity and surface area. The shape and size of the granules enhance radial heat transfer conditions and ensure easy loading into reaction tubes, forming a highly uniform layer.
The catalyst exhibits exceptional stability during operation, including under non-standard conditions, due to the carrier composition, which is free from calcium and magnesium. Heating of the catalyst can be done at a rate of 100–150°C per hour, and regeneration with process gas occurs quickly once the catalyst reaches the reaction temperature.
