The catalyst is intended for the process of conversion of carbon monoxide with water vapor in the production of ammonia at a temperature of 190÷360 °C, pressure up to 3.0 MPa, STEAM:GAS ratio = 0.4÷0.8, space velocity 2000÷5000 h -1 dry converted gas, volume fraction in the original gas (2.5 ± 1.5)%.
Due to the unique phase composition, there is no heating during activation, which is characteristic of other NTK catalysts, and the activation time of the catalyst is reduced by 1.5–2 times.
The catalyst has proven effective in the processes of dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol at a temperature of 200÷310 °C and a pressure of 0.03 MPa (production of caprolactam) and the synthesis of monomethylaniline from aniline and methanol.
For the dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol, a low-temperature reduction technology has been developed, which improves the performance of the catalyst.
Due to the high dispersion of copper and zinc, the catalyst is used for desulfurization of process gases, for example, for low-temperature desulfurization of benzene.
The catalyst is available in the form of molded cylindrical granules, as well as in the form of cylindrical tablets.
