The NIAP-15-09 catalyst (previously produced under the NKO-2 brand 3F) is designed to replace platinum and palladium catalysts in the purification of nitrogen, argon, helium and hydrogen from oxygen impurities by catalytic hydrogenation.
The catalyst can be used in installations for the catalytic purification of waste gases from weak nitric acid production from nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and ammonia, as well as the oxidation of carbon monoxide.
The catalyst has a reduced activation temperature and can be used in all types of reactors. It is available in the form of cylindrical granules.
